It's Our 30th Anniversary as a Guild! Join the festivities on Saturday, 15 October, 2016, for lunch at Springfield Country Club, as we celebrate why we are Undercover Quilters. Remember, it just won't be a party without YOU! Your memories, pictures, stories, laughter, friendships, even tears--and above all, the threads that tie us all together in this enduring, vital, growing community of quilters, past, present, and future. Come yourself (tickets are $20 for members), and bring your family and friends ($30 per guest) to share good food, a wonderful program, and a terrific party. See you there! Contact Deneen T for more information and to get your tickets.
Welcome to the Undercover Quilters Website UQ meets the second Monday of each month except July and August at Christ United Methodist Church, 600 East Dutton Mill Road, Brookhaven PA 19015. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS CONSTRUCTION ON DUTTON MILL ROAD THIS AUTUMN. SEE OUR FACEBOOK PAGE (LINK BELOW) FOR ALTERNATE DRIVING DIRECTIONS.
Meetings begin at 7p, but many members come early to visit and to check out pre-meeting activities that include Goodie Basket Raffle, Fat Quarter Exchange, Block of the Month, Stop-By Demos (presenters always needed--talk to Marise S), Quilting Library, and Magazine Donation and Sale. Bring new projects and unfinished (or finally finished) UFOs for Show and Tell, which is a highlight of the meeting and gives us a mini-quilt show each month. Also, sign up for--or volunteer to present at-- --special events (for example, Something Wonderful in February), --trips (Quilt Retreat in March, Hershey Quilt Show in August), and --single-focus bees, workshops and classes throughout the year. Join the 2017 Quilt Show Committee!
Annual Dues of $30.00 are payable in September/October; dues are tax-deductible. All paid-up members are listed in the Annual Membership Directory. Guests are welcome at all meetings (guest fee $5.00). All members are invited to attend Executive Board Meetings held four times/year.
Whether you are new to the world of quilting or an experienced quilter, belonging to a quilt guild is invaluable as a resource to learn about the art of quilting, share knowledge and skills, and experience the fellowship of quilt-loving friends. We encourage you to come to a guild meeting to see what it is all about.
